So we're feeling like spring. A new website and new images. Inspired by the spring blossoms and fashion's sunshine yellow theme which is the top look for this season according to Vogue, our Hair and Makeup artist, Amanda Clarke has created these fresh on trend beauty looks.
It was less spring like, though, a week ago when Hurricane Doris struck our shores. But sometimes a shoot must go on whatever the weather. Sally O'Neill was in Richmond park working for a certain A-Lister, who has to be nameless, trying desperately to keep grooming in control in the 70mph gusts.
Of course anything can happen on a shoot. And a proposal isn't the most bizarre thing that's ever occurred. But recently we did a shoot for a national newspaper with Paula Williamson, ex-actress from Corrie. So seamless link from violent winds to violent criminals as Charles Bronson, UK's most violent convict proposed to her from his cell in prison while we were at the shoot. Her 64 year old fiance who has numerous convictions for armed robbery, wounding and grievous bodily harm is, according to Paula, 'a gentle giant and a gentleman'.
We're not sure how many of our men's grooming artists would volunteer to groom that mustache for the wedding?
Staying with the wedding theme (well, it was Valentine's not long ago) Oonagh was the makeup and hair artist for the promo images of David Emanuel's wedding dress reality show Say Yes To The Dress on the Discovery Channel.
While Lisa was grooming Stephen Mulhern for Britain's Got More Talent and Saturday Night Takeaway, we had our team on advertising shoots for Tangle Teezer (Sally) and for ex-Pussycat Dolls, Kimberley Wyatt's new range of activewear (Roisin).
